Job Summary
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members while executing security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations professionally, conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking zones, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to leadership. Prepare clear activity and incident reports. This six-month commitment includes fixed-anchor shifts with an option to claim additional shifts via the Smart Tools platform. Located in New York, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
