Job Summary
Maintain strict control of all access points by verifying access cards and denying entry to unauthorized individuals while escorting contractors and visitors safely. Conduct regular patrols of the entire site to monitor for hazards, unauthorized activity, or security breaches, staying highly vigilant and alert to respond immediately to access-related issues or emergencies. Open and close access gates promptly to ensure smooth operations without compromising security. This part-time role requires a valid BC Security License and at least 12 months of guard experience. Available for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months experience as a guard
- Valid BC Security License
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and working outdoors
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Valid BC Security Licence or Capable of completing Valid Security Licence within first three months of employment (company paid)
