Job Summary
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by following site-specific procedures at a government healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying personnel and documenting concerns. Conduct regular patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies to support authorized entry and orderly operations. Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, communicating updates with leadership and site contacts.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of security-related experience
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred
