Job Summary
Screen and direct visitors, enforce hospital guidelines, and issue passes while conducting patrols to detect safety hazards and unauthorized individuals. Maintain accurate documentation, prepare incident reports, and respond to emergencies and calls for service with professionalism. Escort personnel, control visitor access, and assist with patient transfers. This role requires working second shifts (1330-2200) and involves lifting and dragging 50 pounds. You must hold a valid government-issued ID and security officer/guard license. PalAmerican Security, a leader in the Protective & Security industry, seeks this officer to provide top-notch security services to hospital personnel, vendors, patients, and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work 2nd shifts ( 1330-2200)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military police, or security
- Ability to lift and drag 50 pounds
- Proficiency in MS Word and basic computer knowledge
- Valid government-issued ID and security officer/guard license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
- Demonstrate professionalism and sensitivity in all interactions
- Promote teamwork and adhere to security policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient/client rights
