Job Summary
Maintain a visible presence in the assigned facility while monitoring the environment for suspicious activity and enforcing building policies. Greet customers, visitors, and staff professionally, answer all phones, and permit authorized entry by monitoring entrances and exits. Perform required patrols on foot or in vehicle, observe departing personnel to prevent theft, and monitor alarms and systems. Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities as directed. Work Saturday and Sunday shifts from 0800 to 2000. A state-mandated security license and high school diploma are required.
Required Qualifications
- State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
- Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent
- Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period
- Must have reliable means of communication and transportation
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to write routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reporting
- Saturday and Sunday 0800 to 2000
