Job Summary
Maintain a professional demeanor while monitoring facility environments for suspicious activity and enforcing building policies. Greet visitors, answer phones, and permit authorized entry, then conduct required patrols on foot or in vehicle. Observe departing personnel to protect company property and monitor alarms and systems. Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities as directed. This role requires a state-mandated security license and reliable transportation, with a Monday to Friday shift from 15:00 to 23:00. Required Qualifications
- State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
- Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent
- Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period
- Must have reliable means of communication and transportation
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- neat and professional appearance
- ability to detect suspicious and unsafe activity
- Know the facility / building policies and procedures
- Write routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, customer service experience
