Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity, check identification and control access to secure areas, react quickly to threats or incidents and document actions, ensure proper functioning of alarms and cameras, handle alarms and conduct on-site checks, and partner with law enforcement during serious incidents; participate in community outreach with vulnerable populations; enforce the Trespass to Property Act. The role emphasizes physical readiness, observation skills, knowledge of security procedures, ability to stand/walk for extended shifts, and holding a valid security license with First Aid certification.
