Job Summary
Surveillance Security Guard responsible for monitoring security systems, detecting threats, responding to incidents, documenting events with detailed reports, conducting regular foot patrols, controlling access and visitor identification, analyzing security systems for vulnerabilities, and coordinating with law enforcement in emergencies. Requires authorization to work in Canada, a valid security license, and First Aid certification, plus strong reporting skills, good eyesight and focus, technology proficiency, ability to stand and walk during shifts, and reliability clearance. Full-time and part-time opportunities available; training through GardaWorld Academy and various shifts offered.
Required Qualifications
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- First aid certification - required
- Strong report writing skills
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- Must pass reliability clearance
