Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to identify and report unusual activity or hazards. Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and help maintain orderly conditions in accordance with site procedures. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately through required reports, logs, and/or electronic reporting systems.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A guard card or license is preferred
