Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned retail and mall areas, including common spaces, entrances, parking, and perimeters, to deter incidents and identify unusual activity. Respond to disturbances and critical situations professionally, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed. Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors while maintaining orderly conditions through site-specific procedures. Document all incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately via required reports, logs, and electronic systems. This role supports a culture of integrity and teamwork within Allied Universal's agile facility services team.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A guard card or license is preferred
