Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients by supporting access control activities, monitoring visitor and contractor activity, and responding to alarms and critical situations. Prepare clear activity logs for patrols, incidents, and maintenance observations while maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Work a rotating day shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Wednesday through Thursday, and a weekend shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Access control or badge experience is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
