Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter to maintain a visible presence that deters incidents and unauthorized access. Respond to security-related concerns, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while providing customer service to clients, visitors, and retail personnel. Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel, assist with access control and visitor direction, and complete required activity and incident reports. Work a full-time day shift from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Mon–Sat) or 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Sun).
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Loss prevention experience
- A guard card or license
- Customer service experience
