Job Summary
Enforce property standards, rules, and regulations while maintaining access control procedures and patrolling premises to detect irregularities. Respond to medical emergencies by providing first aid, CPR, or AED support, and handle trespassers by enforcing the Trespass to Property Act in a fair and safe manner. Assist with Fire & Life Safety inspections, manage alarms by escorting people to safety, and remove anyone threatening safety or disturbing the peace. Maintain a detailed memo book, prepare incident reports using CF's standard program, and write daily reports with suggestions for improved security. Work Monday to Friday from 1200-2000 as part of a team to ensure staff and customer safety.
Required Qualifications
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Must possess a valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification (WSIB-approved)
- Valid G2 or G Drivers License
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)
- Legally Authorized to work in Canada
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
