Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed. Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while monitoring access points and verifying authorization. Report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to site contacts. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures. Work a full-time day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at a location in Newark, DE.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
