Job Summary
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and issue passes as directed to control entry for employees, contractors, drivers, and delivery personnel. Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities while conducting regular patrols of assigned areas including loading docks and the business perimeter. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols. Report unusual conditions during patrols to maintain a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location in Ocala, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
