Job Summary
Monitor club premises, serve as the point of contact for accidents and security issues, and maintain overall security at the Arlington location. Handle emergency protocols, secure doors, windows, and gates using alarm keypads, and enforce high safety standards for members and staff. Work part-time shifts including weekends, evenings, holidays, and all weather conditions outdoors. This entry-level uniformed position supports the Club's 1924 history and member-owned mission. Candidates must be 21+, speak English fluently, hold a valid driver's license, and meet physical demands for lifting 45 pounds and walking stairs. Interviews are held at the Arlington Campus.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years old or older
- Effectively speak, read, and write English
- Have a valid driver's license
- Open availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Willingness to work Holidays (i.e. July 4th)
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (sit, stand, bend, lift, walk, or use stairs for long periods of time)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull at least 45 pounds unassisted
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions outdoors during the summer and winter (heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, and ice)
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Knowledge of alarm keypads and how to secure doors, windows and gates
- Reliable transportation
- Current Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Current VA/DC/MD security license
