Job Summary
Secure the stationed Foot Locker store in Midtown Manhattan by maintaining a professional presence on the sales floor and front door to deter theft through customer engagement. Monitor store entrances and exits, responding to the EAS system while observing and reporting suspicious activities or persons on property. Execute security services per post orders, sign in and out employees and vendors, verify merchandise, and write detailed narrative and daily incident reports. Communicate shrink-related concerns to Store Management and Loss Prevention, ensuring a positive customer shopping experience. Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned. This role requires a valid NY State security guard license, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid NY State security guard license
- Professional image and attitude with a strong security presence
- Good communication skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
- Highest level of personal integrity
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
- Morning, evenings, and weekends are required
