Job Summary
Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while conducting regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter. Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and unsecured access points, and assist with access control, visitor direction, and maintaining an orderly presence during busy shopping periods, special events, and deliveries. Work a fixed six-month anchor shift from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM in Lakeland, FL, with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform. A valid driver's license and at least one year of security-related experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Valid driver's license for driving positions
