Job Summary
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and manage visitor sign-in processes while conducting regular patrols of entrances, parking areas, and facility perimeters to deter unauthorized access. Respond to alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities. Maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures. This six-month fixed-shift commitment allows for reliable base hours at an assigned site in Fernandina Beach, FL, with the option to pick up additional shifts through the Smart Tools platform to increase earnings. Candidates must have at least one year of security experience and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- A valid driver's license
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be subject to a background investigation
- Be subject to a drug screen
- A valid driver's license for driving positions only
