Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Monitor access points, verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately. Communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Work a fixed six-month commitment with an anchor shift from 5:45 AM to 1:45 PM on Fridays in Columbus, OH, with an option to claim additional shifts via the Smart Tools platform. Participate in industry-specific security training programs and undergo background investigations and drug screens.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
