Job Summary
Provide customer service to visitors and employees while conducting regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity. Screen individuals and their belongings using assigned equipment, verify access authorization, and respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a professional manner. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, screening activities, and unusual occurrences in accordance with site procedures. Complete a six-month fixed-shift commitment at a designated site in Leesburg, VA, with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. Requires at least two years of security experience, a valid driver's license, and an Armed Guard Card.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of security-related experience
- Valid driver's license in the state where the job is located
- Armed Guard Card or License
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
