Job Summary
Monitor assigned premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access through regular patrols and inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents while maintaining detailed logs of activities and observations. Enforce company policies and safety procedures, assisting visitors and employees with directions and access control. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. Maintain a valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience as a security guard or in a related role preferred
- Relevant certifications are a plus
