Job Summary
Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating details to site contacts and leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby, exterior grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and support badge and entry procedures per site protocols. Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities. This unarmed part-time role in Huntington, NY, includes a day shift from 8 AM to 5 PM on Mondays and 8 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays. Applicants must have at least one year of security experience, be 18 years of age, and possess a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
- A valid driver's license
