Job Summary
Coordinate dispatch communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and relay information to field personnel for a public transportation location. Respond to alarms and critical situations following established protocols while conducting regular patrols around assigned transit facilities and perimeter areas. Provide customer service to transit agency clients, employees, passengers, and visitors by executing security procedures and emergency response activities. Maintain accurate dispatch logs and incident reports in accordance with site procedures. This part-time role supports a secure environment at a transit agency in Seattle, WA.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
