Job Summary
Conduct routine unarmed patrols around the location and perimeter while maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. Respond to alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Report observations and support emergency response activities in alignment with site-specific policies. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and offers the opportunity to earn additional shifts using Smart Tools technology.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Desired Qualifications
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
