Job Summary
Monitor access control systems, fire and security alarms, and radio communications for the Euclid facility. Act as the 911 emergency response center and Incident Command dispatch hub for critical incidents. Patrol property, inspect buildings, and enforce parking guidelines while monitoring surveillance equipment. Fill in at the truck entrance to cover vacations and call offs, verifying shipping papers, issuing gate passes, and scaling raw materials. Monitor railroad traffic entering and exiting the property. Interpret and enforce company policies, representing the organization to all guests. Requires irregular work schedules, rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends. Valid Ohio driver's license and minimum two years security experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Able to walk up to two miles per shift and climb steps
- Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license
- Excellent attendance and 'on time' record required
- Able to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years security experience is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Highly motivated, quick learning, quality conscious and have the initiative to take ownership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Very alert and able to act calmly and decisively under stressful conditions
- Able to work well with people in all areas and levels of the company
