Job Summary
Monitor and control visitor entrance and exit according to established protocols while maintaining a high-visibility presence to prevent illegal or inappropriate actions. Use two-way radios to report incidents promptly and alert appropriate personnel or authorities during suspicious or criminal activities. Adhere strictly to all security protocols and procedures to ensure premises safety while maintaining a professional demeanor. This on-call position requires a DPSST certification, valid D-License, and at least one year of security experience. Compensation is $20 per hour for unarmed roles and $30 per hour for armed positions, applicable nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- DPSST (Department of Public Safety Standards & Training) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid D-License
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency situations
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Must have a mode of reliable transportation
- This is an on-call position only
