Job Summary
Monitor and control the entrance and exit of visitors according to established protocols while maintaining a high-visibility presence to prevent illegal or inappropriate actions. Use provided communication devices to report incidents promptly and alert appropriate personnel or authorities in response to suspicious or criminal activities. Follow all security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of the premises while maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance. This on-call position requires a valid D-License, high school diploma, and at least one year of security experience. Compensation ranges from $20 to $30 per hour depending on whether the role is unarmed or armed. Reliable transportation is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid D-License
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency situations
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Must have a mode of reliable transportation
- This is an on-call position only
