Job Summary
Monitor and control visitor entrance and exit, report incidents via two-way radios, and alert authorities for suspicious or criminal activities. Follow company security protocols to ensure premises safety while maintaining a professional demeanor and high-visibility presence to prevent illegal actions. Requires DPSST certification, valid D-License, high school diploma, and at least one year of security experience. Must possess reliable transportation and physical fitness for extended standing and climbing stairs. This is an on-call position only with compensation of $20 to $30 per hour depending on armed status.
Required Qualifications
- DPSST (Department of Public Safety Standards & Training) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid D-License
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency situations
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Must have a mode of reliable transportation
- This is an on-call position only
