Job Summary
Monitor and control visitor entrance and exit points while maintaining a high-visibility presence to deter illegal or inappropriate actions. Report incidents promptly using two-way radios and alert authorities regarding suspicious or criminal activities. Adhere strictly to all company security protocols and procedures to ensure premises safety. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance throughout the shift. This on-call position requires a DPSST certification, valid D-License, and high school diploma. Compensation is $20 per hour for unarmed roles and $30 per hour for armed roles, applicable nationwide. Reliable transportation is required.
Required Qualifications
- DPSST (Department of Public Safety Standards & Training) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid D-License
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency situations
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Must have a mode of reliable transportation
- This is an on-call position only
