Job Summary
Monitor and control the entrance and exit of visitors, report suspicious or criminal activities, and alert appropriate personnel or authorities using two-way radios. Follow all company security protocols and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor and high-visibility presence to prevent illegal actions. Ensure physical fitness for extended periods of standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Requires DPSST certification, valid D-License, high school diploma, and at least one year of security experience. Compensation is $20 per hour for unarmed or $30 per hour for armed positions. This is an on-call position only.
Required Qualifications
- DPSST (Department of Public Safety Standards & Training) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid D-License
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency situations
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Must have a mode of reliable transportation
- This is an on-call position only
