Job Summary
Monitor and control the entrance and exit of visitors according to established protocols. Use provided communication devices, such as two-way radios, to report incidents promptly and alert appropriate personnel or authorities during suspicious or criminal activities. Follow all company security protocols and procedures to ensure premises safety while maintaining a professional demeanor and high-visibility presence to prevent illegal actions. This on-call position requires a valid D-License, DPSST certification, and at least one year of security experience. Compensation ranges from $20 to $30 per hour depending on armed status. Reliable transportation is required.
Required Qualifications
- DPSST (Department of Public Safety Standards & Training) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid D-License
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency situations
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Must have a mode of reliable transportation
- This is an on-call position only
