Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas in healthcare facilities, including buildings, entrances, parking, and perimeters, while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. Respond to security concerns, medical emergencies, and behavioral issues by following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel. Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by executing security procedures and verifying access to restricted areas. Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with location procedures. Work a full-time schedule from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Fridays.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least two years of security-related experience
- Possess an armed guard card or license
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Possess a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred
- Hold CPR and First Aid certification, preferred
