Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including healthcare facilities, parking zones, and perimeters, while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and support patients, visitors, and staff. Respond to alarms, critical situations, and security concerns with a calm, professional approach, controlling access to restricted areas by verifying credentials. Provide customer service during these interactions and prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities for leadership. Conduct regular and random armed patrols to identify potential concerns and request additional assistance as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience
- Armed guard card or license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years of age
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements met per state and/or local laws
