Job Summary
Patrol premises on foot and in vehicles to deter unauthorized activity while monitoring surveillance tools and identifying suspicious behavior. Check identification, search bags, and enforce security protocols to ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas. Respond to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, and security breaches by coordinating with agencies, using de-escalation techniques, and investigating alarm triggers. Document incidents in detailed reports and maintain security equipment including cameras and access control systems. Provide customer service by assisting visitors and directing them to facility rules. Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to lift 50lbs in seasonal temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in seasonal hot and cold temperatures and exposure to dust and chemical fumes
