Security Guard: 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Provide security for Mooseheart Child City & School, Moose International, Moose Charities, and Mooseheart residents and visitors. Patrol Mooseheart campus to ensure safety and security, respond to emergencies and alarms, operate the Gate House, provide security and traffic control for events, conduct perimeter checks, complete incident reports, and maintain confidentiality. Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher certifications, pass background and physical examinations, and possess a valid Illinois driver’s license; 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am) full-time with a $2 shift differential during shift hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 21 years or older
- Must possess and maintain valid Illinois driver's license, maintain a clean driving record and pass a MVR check
- Pass background check
- Pass physical examination
- Maintain required certifications in CPR, First Aid and Fire Extinguisher use
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, residents and visitors
- Ability to read reports and instructions
- Ability to operate two-way radios and alarm monitoring software
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work under stress and handle multiple tasks
