Job Summary
Conduct routine security patrols inside and outside assigned facilities, observing all individuals entering the premises to prevent unauthorized access and prohibited articles. Maintain detailed log books recording names, visit purposes, and entry/exit times for every person on site. Respond immediately to emergency alarms, directing traffic, checking office exits, and ensuring lights and equipment are secured. Report suspicious acts, damages, or unusual occurrences to management or local police, while enforcing company rules and warning violators. Direct vehicles safely within the property and operate load-dumping equipment if a fire occurs. Work six days per week in a swing shift from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with Saturday and Sunday coverage from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid Class C Driver's License
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge and ability to secure a premise
- Honest, dedicated, and sincere
- Polite and courteousness
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts
- Ability to act quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to judge and detect possible threats and act accordingly
- Acceptable Driver Record
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Schedule is 6 days per week
- Swing shift M-F 10pm – 6:30a
- Swing Saturday/Sunday – 6pm-6am
- Holidays and shift coverages for time off/vacations when needed
