Job Summary
Maintain a visible presence in the assigned facility, monitor the environment for suspicious activity, and perform required patrols on foot or in vehicle. Greet customers, visitors, and staff professionally while answering all phones and permitting authorized entry. Enforce facility policies, observe departing personnel to prevent theft, and monitor alarms and systems. Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities as directed. Requires a state-mandated security officer license, high school diploma, and reliable transportation. Monday through Friday open availability with competitive hourly pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
- Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent
- Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period
- Must have reliable means of communication and transportation
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to write routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reporting
