Job Summary
Monitor the environment for suspicious activity, maintain a visible presence in assigned facilities, and perform required patrols on foot or in vehicle. Greet customers, visitors, and staff professionally while permitting authorized entry and enforcing facility policies. Answer phones, observe departing personnel to protect company property, and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities. Follow established emergency action planning and procedures. Requires a state-mandated security officer license, high school diploma, and reliable transportation. Schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Required Qualifications
- State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
- Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent
- Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period
- Must have reliable means of communication and transportation
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to write routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reporting

- Previous contract security experience
- Previous law enforcement experience
