Job Summary
Monitor the environment, detect suspicious activity, and maintain a visible presence in the assigned facility. Greet customers, visitors, and staff professionally while permitting authorized entry and enforcing facility policies. Perform required patrols on foot or in vehicle, answer phones, and monitor alarms and systems. Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities as directed. Maintain a professional demeanor and know facility policies within the limits of the position.
Required Qualifications
- State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
- Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent
- Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period
- Must have reliable means of communication and transportation
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to write routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reporting
- Saturday - Sunday 3pm-11pm
Desired Qualifications
- Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, customer service experience
