Job Summary
Conduct security patrols on foot or in vehicles while monitoring entrances, exits, and departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure property removal follows client requirements. Watch for irregular conditions, warn violators of rule infractions, and sound alarms or contact police/fire for unauthorized persons or emergencies. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, maintain written logs, and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Aid customers and visitors courteously while operating radio or telephone equipment. Work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with little to no advance notice.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Armed Security Officers Level III License in hand or a Level III Armed Certificate from Texas
- Valid Drivers License for more than 1 year
- Must be flexible to work various work schedules, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately

Desired Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
