Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle while watching for irregular conditions that may create safety hazards. Sound alarms or call police/fire for unauthorized persons, warn violators of rule infractions, and permit authorized entry while monitoring exits. Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and investigate accidents or suspicious activities, preparing written logs as required. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice; valid driver's license and TWIC required.
Required Qualifications
- TSA Issued TWIC
- Valid Driver's License
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
- Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Active listening and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications
