Job Summary
Provide fixed and roving patrol security for various client sites across the Charlotte area, delivering excellent customer service as a professional ambassador. Observe, deter, and report unauthorized or unusual activities, responding quickly to critical situations while reading and writing detailed incident reports. Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards with professionalism. Maintain open availability for all shifts, including weekends and holidays, while completing required crisis prevention and site-specific training before serving as a qualified officer.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years old or the minimum age required by the state
- Customer service experience
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of security experience and/or military/LEO
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge to operate the radio, telephone, and console monitors
- Authorization to legally work in the United States
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Access to reliable transportation that allows for short-notice response throughout the Atlanta Metro area
- Ability to complete crisis prevention training and site-specific training before serving as a qualified security officer
- Ability to pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (8+ hours)
- Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to reach over your head with 10-25 lb loads
- Ability to walk up and down stairs, with loads up to 50 lbs
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and use ladders
- Ability to work at a desk and use a keyboard
- Ability to work any shift, 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including weekends and holidays
- Must have open availability for all shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
