Job Summary
Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities at public transportation facilities. Respond to incidents and service disruptions in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures. Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift. This role offers flexible part-time hours with a six-month fixed-shift commitment and an option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
