Security & Facial Recognition Manager

Job Summary
Lead and oversee enterprise security and Facial Recognition Technology (FRT) across Foodstuffs North Island stores. Own the end-to-end FRT operating model, governance, privacy-by-design, and ongoing optimisation to ensure safe, ethical, compliant, and effective security programs. Responsibilities include enterprise leadership for security and loss prevention, rollout and operation of FRT, governance through policies and controls, day-to-day security operations, data-driven analysis to improve safety and shrink, vendor management (including Auror), and collaboration with Retail Operations, IT, Legal, Privacy, and Store Owners. Stakeholder engagement, strategic execution, and building a high-performing security and FRT team are core expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience in security, loss prevention, risk, or integrity in large/complex environments
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management
- Experience with technology-enabled or data-driven security programs
- Governance, compliance, and operating framework development
