Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the Hotel Security Control Room, including monitoring CCTV and security systems, managing access points, and conducting regular patrols of guest floors, public areas, and back-of-house. Respond promptly to all security, safety, and medical emergencies while participating in the Hotel Emergency Action Team (HEAT) / Company Emergency Response Team (CERT). Handle incident reporting, preliminary investigations, and documentation in line with SOPs, manage lost & found items and key control, and provide crowd control, lift management, and VIP escort duties as required. Assist in training and guiding security officers on SOPs and hotel policies, liaise with management, vendors, and local authorities on security issues, and ensure all security systems and equipment are operational.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'O' level
- At least 4 years hotel's security experience in a 4/5 star hotel
- Minimum Chief Security Officer Certification required by local authorities
- Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) Certificate
- Conversant with the various systems in Hotel Security Room
- Computer, Report writing, communication skills, investigation and questioning aptitude
Desired Qualifications
- Former Law Enforcement Officer at Supervisory level is preferred
- Previous administration of persons in lifesaving or property protection situations
- Experienced in CPR, First aid, firefighting and crowd control
