Job Summary
Monitor uncleared construction crews in Government facilities up to the Top Secret/Secure Compartmented Information level to ensure constant surveillance and prevent access to controlled or classified information. Assist during emergency action procedures to protect SCIFs by verifying visits, completing visitor logs, providing briefings, inspecting carried items, and maintaining positive control of uncleared personnel. Perform light facility duties including debris removal, snow/ice clearance, furniture movement, and receiving supplies, while conducting personal sweeps in closed areas to monitor prohibited items. Work typical hours of 0730-1630 Monday through Friday with occasional after-hours or weekend availability required. Maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years high-level security experience on DOD site or similar in military
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
- Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret level with SCI eligibility
- US Citizenship
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
