Job Summary
Security Engineer III focused on embedding security into the software development lifecycle across a cloud-native platform. Responsible for hands-on security design, threat modeling, and secure tooling; collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure security is embedded by design; mentor engineers, participate in design and code reviews, develop reusable security components and APIs, and promote best practices to balance security with functionality and availability.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in application security, software development, or related engineering role
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices
- Hands-on experience conducting security design reviews, threat modeling, and code reviews for web and cloud-based applications
- Experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security scanners
- Ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
