Job Summary
Security Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase in Cloud and Infrastructure delivers secure software solutions for an enterprise-scale environment. You design, implement, and maintain security solutions, understand systems engineering and administration, execute key deliverables in security engineering, and develop production code with Python, Bash, PowerShell and other scripting languages. You’ll deploy production solutions at scale, review others’ code, engage with third-party vendors, minimize vulnerabilities by following regulations, and collaborate with stakeholders to address security needs. Preferred qualifications include cloud certifications (AWS focus), experience communicating with senior leaders, and strong automation/CI/CD capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts
- experience with cloud engineering, deployment engineering, DevOps engineering, or equivalent
- experience deploying commercial software at scale into an enterprise environment
- strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems internals
- IaC with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
- programming/scripting language expertise for automation
- proficiency in SDLC
- cloud technologies (e.g., AWS security)
