Job Summary
Build the hardware and embedded security baseline across Motive devices, covering boot chains, firmware, FOTA, and manufacturing processes. Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, and security testing for product systems while defining requirements for embedded systems, firmware interfaces, and device lifecycle controls. Drive relationships with hardware engineering teams to prioritize, validate, and remediate findings, ensuring scalable "secure-by-default" components empower engineers to ship securely. Manage end-to-end security for device hardware across IoT and cloud security infrastructure, assessing risks throughout the product lifecycle from design to decommissioning.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years years of experience in Hardware Security, including creating security by design patterns into new devices and platforms
- 5+ years of experience in working with product teams creating security designs and providing security requirements
- 5+ years of hands on development experience in the programming languages like python and C/C++
- Strong understanding of hardware root of trust, secure boot, attestation, key protection, device identity, and secure provisioning concepts
- Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, reviewing, and validating security controls for hardware and low-level system architectures
- Experience in cloud security, runtime security, supply chain security, and application security best practices
- The applicant must be authorized to receive and access those commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations
